It has been over 7 years now, in the year of grace 2017, on a lovely evening at the Château de la Giraudais, animated by passionate discussions about the history of the place and of Brittany in general, a group of friends wondered, “What if we created a show about the History of the Battle of Saint-Aubin-du-Cormier?”. The idea excited the assembly, and the ideas started to flow… Quickly moving from words to action, on September 9, 2017, Association 1488 was officially founded. Information meetings were organized, and the recruitment of volunteers and extras began to bear fruit! The magic was happening… In July 2019, the first historical show by Association 1488 was created, in front of nearly 6,000 captivated spectators! The adventure had begun and it won’t stop anytime soon! We thank everyone who has supported us and continues to support us in this beautiful collective adventure that is just beginning!
